There are so many things that you can do to improve your profile to increase responses to your profile. I will list five tips to get you started that of items that I have personally found very useful.
1. Take several clear pictures of yourself and avoid having too many pictures with you wearing sunglasses. People want to see you and what you look like. Do not be afraid to smile in at least one of your pictures. Especially men. Take a variety of pictures, such a face shot, a full body shot, and pictures of you doing things that you enjoy such as hobbies and vacations.
2. Put in your profile information about yourself, and please do not say that you do not know what you want to say. This may give a reader a sense that you do not know much about yourself or what you want.
3. Avoid mentioning that cliché sentence that you are not looking for those that play games. I do not know anyone that is looking for someone that is a player. The players will still email you even if you mention that is not what you are looking for. Just be watchful for people that are wishy-washy or wasting your precious time.
4. Describe what it is that you are looking for in a potential mate or date. Do keep it brief but a straightforward description is best.
5. Lastly, have a catchy headline that will grasp the reader’s attention to your profile.
